I bought a bigger size and it was fine. I really like the long sleeves. Soft cotton feelI have ordered several similar shirts from Agan Traders, but this review is specifically for the 720B blouse in purple. I normally wear a size small, and ordered small for all of these shirts. Most of them fit fine, but the 720B was HUGE! But several reviews said it would shrink in the wash, so I wasn't concerned. Well, it did shrink, and now fits very well in the torso. However the sleeves are now a bit short, and stop about a half inch above my wrists. The shirt also bled BADLY on everything in that load of laundry. Wash it with similar colors or shop-towels the first time! I can still make this shirt work, despite the sleeves, but won't buy this specific cut again. The 117B and 147B shirts fit perfectly upon arrival. (I hope they don't also shrink in the wash, but reviews for those shirts didn't mention anything about that. Even though it's the same manufacturer. Weird.) The color is very nice, and the embroidery is neatly done. The fabric is opaque without being too heavy, and is still very breathable and comfortable. I would have given this shirt five stars if the sleeves were longer after washing.I absolutely LOVE this blouse! I've already bought three of them (purple, dark green and black) and I plan to buy more! I'm 5'11" with an hourglass shape and large frame and I normally can wear XL or sometimes 1X. After reading reviews I ordered a 2X in this blouse and it fits *perfectly.* The fit is very flattering and the drape of the material is beautiful. I washed them before wearing because of that new clothing chemical smell. I washed using the hand wash cycle on my washing machine. I used cold water and a color protecting detergent. All three of mine are dark colors and none of them faded -- and they did not shrink at all. But note that I did *not* put them in the dryer -- I line dried them. (Another reviewer said hers shrunk a full size -- I have to think that she put hers in the dryer). Also note that they need a light pressing with an iron to smooth out the rayon so that it looks, feels and drapes at its best. This is one of the most comfortable blouses I own -- it feels like a pajama top, yet it looks very classy. I've received lots of compliments on both the color and style! My only complaint is that the purple one I bought doesn't look like the purple in this photo. After looking at the colors again I think they sent me plum by mistake. But it's still a beautiful color in any case.Prompt Shipping and Beautiful Blouse! Very pretty shirt and nicely made but unfortunately the sleeves are HUGE - they were just way too big around for me. They gave the blouse a funny look.Otherwise, the material and embroidery are just beautiful! And as I said, they were well constructed.But I had to send them back due to the sizing and the too-large sleeves. I wish I could have kept them but the sizes were unusual and the sleeves just too big. I'm only 5'1" tall and they just wouldn't work for me but they may work just fine on average-height or taller bodies.Note: I ordered two of these blouses in the Medium Size and one was oddly much larger than the other one and too big. Both had what I would call "EXTRA-LARGE DIAMETER Sleeves". The Turquoise one was larger in the shoulders and chest than the Blue one. BUT they are both GORGEOUS and if I could figure out what size to order of each color to get the fit right, and a way to correctly make the sleeve diameter smaller, I'd order them again!SUCH a beautiful, UNIQUE shirt! Be aware, when ordering, that there is no stretch to it...You may want to consider ordering one size up from your normal size because it is rayon and that material NEEDS to be washed in COLD water and, preferably, line dried.I highly recommend buying from this seller! The fabric is perfect for summer -- light with a nice drape. I get lots of compliments and inquiries about where I got it. Great blouse!The problem is the fit. These shirts run extremely large because the sizing takes shrinkage into account. They will shrink. In cold water. Quite a lot. The first one I purchased was my regular size. It was ginormous. I thought about returning it but got busy and forgot. Wanting to wear a blouse like this, I ended up getting a second one (different color) that was one size smaller than my regular size. It fit perfectly! Until I washed it. It is now one size smaller than it started off being and it is now the advertised size: one size too small for me. So I eyeballed that original shirt that was big enough to do the backstroke in and I washed it. And it shrank. And now it is the perfect fit. It's a shame you can't assess the fit until after you wash it, but I'm glad things worked out. I really do like this top!So niceWho is your reviewer? I wear a 22/24 petite, 5'2", apple-type 50-49-51, C-cup. Most 22s fit my shoulders great, but are too tight across the chest & belly. 24s, have the ease across the belly, but the shoulders look slouchy. I bought the 3X because of the sizing chart measurements. This shirt could be accused of being a hair snug across my C-cup chest after being washed. The shirt fits fine, but honestly if they had a 4X I could probably wear it. If you are busty, SIZE UP no doubt.Exceptionally nice fall/winter long sleeve top, but not hot or heavy fabric. Photos do not do this top justice. It is so much prettier in person. The contrast of the gorgeous embroidery stitching gets me compliments every time I wear it. I bought the purple, it is a dusty purple with hints of dusty berry. When my budget allows, I will be getting more colors.
